The Brief
What the customer asked for

the challenge
What the room required
Narrow terrace bedrooms make every wardrobe decision matter. The challenge was sizing the cabinetry depth so the room still felt usable around the bed, and detailing the doors so a full-height run did not visually shrink the room.
The Solution
Sized to the room
The wardrobes are held at 580mm depth - the minimum that comfortably accommodates hangers — to preserve floor area. Doors are bay-width rather than oversized so the elevation reads as a calm rhythm.

Internal layout
Long-hang at one end, doubled short-hang in the centre, three-drawer banks at the opposite end, shoe storage at the base of the long-hang bay. Soft-close drawers, oak interior.
Painted shaker doors
Five-piece frame-and-panel shaker doors in soft white painted finish, with slim brushed-brass knobs. The shaker proportion was matched to the room's existing skirting and architrave.

Materials & Detailing
Soft white painted, warm oak interior, brushed-brass knobs. The shaker proportion picks up the period detailing of the room.
How it lives
The freestanding wardrobe is gone; the fitted wardrobes hold everything that was in the previous storage plus the shoe collection that had been stored elsewhere. The bedroom reads larger because the cabinetry is held at the minimum useful depth.
