We offer a wide range of elegant made-to-measure designs, whether you need a single 1 door wardrobe for the bedroom or a tall narrow 2 door hall wardrobe. Customise your narrow wardrobe with drawers or shelves according to your preferences. Our narrow wardrobes can be tailored to fit gaps as narrow as 650mm wide and 650mm deep Access to Your Narrow Wardrobe Space When dealing with narrow small spaces, the access to your wardrobe storage will depend on the available opening once one door is slid behind the other. For instance, if you have an overall width of 650mm and a two-door system, the access area would be around 300mm wide. This setup would be suitable for storing coats or shoes. However, if you want to store bulkier items or include drawers, a one-door wardrobe would be more appropriate. To ensure easy access, it is advisable to maintain a narrow depth that does not exceed the width of your wardrobe. Therefore, if the overall width of your narrow wardrobe is 650mm, we recommend a wardrobe depth of 650mm or less. Opening & Closing the Sliding Wardrobe Doors on a Narrow Wardrobe When dealing with tall and extremely narrow doors, we suggest opening and closing them by gripping slightly lower down on the frame. This is due to the wheels on the bottom of the doors being positioned close together compared to doors with a normal width. By gripping and pulling the doors open slightly lower, you can maintain the centre of balance and ensure a smooth slide. Single Door Wardrobes The configuration of the wardrobe depends on the space available adjacent to it. If there is sufficient space, it is possible to have a one-door wardrobe that attaches to the front of the opening aperture. The top and bottom tracks would extend to one side, allowing the single door to slide either to the left or right, providing access to the wardrobe space.
